The goal for the 2018 Emmy Awards season, was to propel the newly launched Marvelous Mrs. Maisel into the cultural zeitgeist. Trump was in office, #MeToo was in full force — the world was ready for Midge and Susie to take it by storm. As it turned out, Susie was a deft marketer, and the show ultimately garnered 8 Emmy Awards and the campaign 2 Clio Entertainment Awards.
